From your first visit to your fiftieth — every question answered, clearly.
Our VersaSpa Pro booth delivers a full-body, even spray tan entirely automatically — no technician, no hands, no awkwardness. You step in, select your shade, follow the voice-guided instructions, and step out bronzed. Your appointment slot is 25 minutes — plenty of time to prepare, tan, dry, and get dressed with no rushing.
24 hours before: exfoliate thoroughly in the shower, shave or wax at least 48 hours before. On the day: arrive with clean, dry skin — no moisturiser, body lotion, deodorant, perfume, or makeup on the body. Wear or bring loose, dark clothing for after. See our full Prep & Aftercare guide for everything you need.
You can choose your shade from our tan menu on the wall — it shows all options and the numbers to enter, so it’s really straightforward. We offer 3 shades: - Golden Glow (Light): a soft, natural sun-kissed glow that develops over 24 hours — hydrating and gentle. - Sun-kissed Bronze (Medium): warm brown + caramel undertones for a classic golden finish. - Deep Bronze (Dark): violet + olive undertones for a deeper, sculpted bronze and long-lasting colour. Each shade also has a double leg spray option (Light/Medium/Dark with double leg spray) for extra depth on the legs.
For bronzed solutions, wait 6–8 hours minimum before your first shower — longer if you want a deeper result (up to 12 hours). Your first rinse should be a gentle water-only rinse without soap or shower gel to let the guide colour wash away cleanly.
With proper aftercare, most clients enjoy their tan for 7–10 days. Moisturising daily, avoiding long hot baths, and using tan-safe products all extend longevity significantly. Clients who book a red light session before their tan consistently report longer-lasting results.
Not with proper preparation and shade selection. The VersaSpa Pro uses professional-grade DHA solutions with natural bronzers designed to develop into realistic, sun-kissed tones. The key is arriving with well-prepped skin (exfoliated, product-free) and choosing the right shade for your skin tone.
DHA, the active ingredient in spray tans, is considered safe for topical use. However, as a precaution, we recommend consulting your midwife or GP before booking during the first trimester. The contactless format means you're never inhaling significant product, which reduces exposure compared to traditional spray tan guns.
Sessions are entirely painless. You'll notice a gentle warmth from the LED panels — similar to mild sunshine. There's no UV, no burning sensation, and no discomfort. Most clients find sessions deeply relaxing. You simply lie down, relax for 15 minutes, and let the light do the work.
Most clients notice initial improvements in skin texture and glow within 2–3 weeks of regular sessions. More significant results — visible collagen improvement, clearer complexion, improved tone — are typically seen at the 6–8 week mark with 2–3 sessions per week. We offer packages designed for consistent protocols.
Red light therapy has an excellent safety profile with over 1,000 peer-reviewed studies supporting its use. It delivers zero UV radiation and is non-invasive. Side effects are extremely rare. Those who are pregnant, have active photosensitive skin conditions, or take photosensitising medications should consult their GP first.
Our clinical-grade panels deliver a dual wavelength of 630–660nm (red) and 850nm (near-infrared). Red wavelengths target the skin's surface layers for collagen and clarity, while near-infrared penetrates deeper for cellular energy, muscle recovery and systemic benefits.
Each session is 15 minutes. This is the clinically supported duration for our panel configuration. Longer isn't always better — the optimal dose window is well established, and 15 minutes at clinical-grade intensity delivers the full therapeutic benefit without over-exposure.

So easy. The booth gives you voice-guided instructions for each position. You step in, follow the prompts, and you're done. We have lots of first-timers and they all say the same thing: "Why didn't I do this sooner?"
The glow combo is Bronze & Glow's unique pairing of a red light therapy session followed immediately by a VersaSpa Pro spray tan. The red light primes your skin at a cellular level — boosting hydration, improving texture, and enhancing circulation — creating the ideal canvas for your spray tan. The result is a deeper, more even, longer-lasting bronze. No other studio in Belfast offers this.
Our clients who regularly use the combo consistently report tans that last 2–4 days longer and develop more evenly. The difference is particularly noticeable if you have dry skin — red light therapy's hydration benefits directly address uneven tan development caused by dry patches.
Simply book your red light session first, then book your spray tan immediately after via our online booking portal. Total time in-studio is around 45 minutes for the full combo.
Always red light first, spray tan second. The red light primes the skin before the solution goes on. You should not do red light after applying a spray tan as the warmth from the panels may affect development of the colour.
